Ina Garten is an American author of cookery books and Emmy Award-winning host of the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa that began airing in 2002 has 27 seasons running until the year 2020. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. Ina was initially enthused by the intellectual rigors of her work, but she soon was bored. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty grocery store. The store was a success for 18 years. the shop extremely popular before selling it as well as grabbing the pen to begin writing her first cookbook. Others followed, and so the magazine column.
