Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actress. Also, she sings. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by American citizens of all races. In the ninth grade, after a school audition where she was praised for her voice and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. She not only gained confidence because of the experience however, she also re-evaluate her the direction of her career. She was a graduate of the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. Her professional career began at age 23 with Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and You've Got Mail in film. The role of The Lad of The Lake was her biggest break, earning an award for her performance, an award called the Tony Award in addition to the acclaim of critics for her performance. Following that, in 2007 she was cast on the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more well-known. A well-known performer, she also has released an album and a musical. She also works as an LGBT activist.
